The National Book Council will be ensuring that, besides ample parking space at the MFCC north entrance available to those visiting by car, everyone can reach the Festival by public transport thanks to enhanced bus routes offered by Malta Public Transport. A shuttle service from Valletta will be available, while the current routes leading to Ta’ Qali will be increased in frequency from Wednesday to Sunday.

MFCC Ta’ Qali  will be served by four routes

  1. a) route 202 (Rabat-Sliema);
  2. b) route186 (Rabat- Buġibba);
  3. c) route 56 (Valletta – Ta’ Qali).
  4. d) route TQ1 (Valletta – Ta’Qali) – the shuttle will be direct between Valletta Bay A1 (close to the Triton fountain) and Ta’ Qali, and it will stop next to the North Entrance. The route will be called TQ1.

-Route 186 covers Rabat, Attard, Mosta, Burmarrad, St Paul’s Bay and Buġibba.
-Route 56 covers Attard, Balzan, Bkara, Swatar, Imsida, Pieta, Floriana.
-Route 202 covers Attard, Mosta, Naxxar, San Ġwann, Kappara, Swieqi, Pembroke, San Ġiljan.
