Ruth Frendo, the popular writer and television personality, takes a look at the series of books Id-Dinja tal-Orsini, featuring augmented reality.

Five characters of different shapes, colors and sizes live in a special place. Together, they go through various adventures. As a result, the five friends explore their lives in an accessible manner for very young readers. In addition, each story leads to a different adventure, a different ‘Orsina’ always conveys a useful message. The stories of the Orsini seek to open the minds and hearts of children, to show them how beautiful and magical our world is!

Among others, Ruth will read some of the stories while the special Orsini will be brought to life thanks to augmented reality. The stories can be read to children by adults, or by the children themselves.

This interactive book series was supported by the National Literacy Agency and the Ministry for Education and Employment. This project received production funds from the Malta Film Commission, while the design and production of the sets was done by MCAST.
