Claudine Borg has a doctorate in Translation Studies and is Head of the Department of Translation, Terminology and Interpreting Studies at the University of Malta. She has presented her work in various local and international conferences, and published articles in academic books, among them the monograph A Literary Translation in the Making: A Process-Oriented Perspective (2022) published by Routledge. Her literary translations include two books by Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt: Oscar u s-Sinjura r-Roża (2015) u Kunċert b’Tifkira ta’ Anġlu (2021), both of which were shortlisted for the National Book Prize. She is an executive board member of the European Society for Translation Studies (EST) and the Editor-in-Chief of its newsletter.
