Children’s Literature (ages 8-12)

Ulied il-Wied

Meta Kevin beda skola ġdida f’raħal ieħor, ma basarx illi kien ser jiltaqa’ ma’ tifla bħal Betta. Betta kienet kollox li hu ma kienx – fuq tagħha, kuraġġuża, u toqgħod f’razzett mimli annimali f’wied mill-isbaħ.

Iżda Betta kellha l-problemi tagħha wkoll.

Il-ġenituri tagħha kienu ser jinfirdu, u s-Sur Bastjan ried jeqred ir-razzett u l-wied ta’ nannuha sabiex jagħmel barriera u fabbrika tas-siment.

Fit-taqbida tagħhom sabiex isalvaw il-wied mill-qerda, Kevin u Betta jsibu msieħba mhux mistennija f’raġel stramb u annimal ċkejken. Imma tgħid dan ser ikun biżżejjed sabiex jirnexxilhom?
