Who said reading can’t be fun? DANUSAN will spontaneously read out and animate books in public areas during the week prior to the Malta Book Festival. Daniel Chircop and Chrysander Agius will be improvising with the present crowd at strategic places animating books in Maltese. Keeping safe distances, DANUSAN will include their surroundings and people they meet into their stories.
All books are previous winners of the Terramaxka Prize: Insalvaw il-Pjaneta l-Blu, Il-Ħanut tal-Ħelu li Mar Dawra, L-Annimali tas-Savana: Il Verità Kollha fuq l-Annimali, Amina and Irvin Vella: Il-Każ tal-Gżejjer tat-Teżor.
Children may join the fun by being part of their stories and the chosen scenarios are incredibly original.
Shopping Malls, Valletta Fountain, The Flea Market, During a scout group meeting, Play areas etc. Keep your eyes and ears open during November as Danusan are opening their books taking you on wild adventures.
