In this interview we meet Mary Rose Mifsud, translator of The Diary of Anne Frank as edited by Otto Frank and Mirjam Pressler and translated into English by Susan Massotty. During this interview we hear about this publication which includes the Maltese translation of The Diary as well as information about what happened to it before and after it was published. Through detailed annotations about the characters and places mentioned in the book, the translator shows what became of them even after the end of The Diary. The interview also touches upon other points of interest including the translation process with special reference to linguistic choices.
