Karmen Mikallef Buħaġar strove to ensure that the memory of Dun Karm is respected. She maintained correspondence with local authors including Ġużè Cardona, who completed his M.A. on Dun Karm and wrote both poetry and prose. Sergio Grech gives a talk on the correspondence exchanged between them.
