An hour-long concert packed with the music and distinctive sounds of The New Victorians, taken from VII and Il-Fidwa tal-Bdiewa: two shows with original music by The New Victorians. For this novel production at the 2023 Malta Book Festival, Teatru Malta is once again drawing up a set of auditory delights for our audiences in order to deliver the best excerpts from these two productions in a concert enriched by vibrant music and writing.
Teatru Malta’s theatrical programmes in 2019 and 2022 celebrated two anniversaries: VII marked the centenary of one of the most well-known episodes in Malta’s recent history, the riots of Sette Giugno, while Il-Fidwa tal-Bdiewa is an audio-theatrical tribute to Ninu Cremona’s work on the 50th anniversary of the death of this literary giant. Both shows were co-productions by Teatru Malta and Fondazzjoni Ċelebrazzjonijiet Nazzjonali.
