The National Book Council would like to announce some changes to the opening hours of the Malta Book Festival due to national requirements related to the international conference on immigration which is scheduled to happen in the days following the Festival in Valletta.
The Malta Book Festival will not remain open all day on Sunday 8th November as previously announced but will close at noon (12:00). The Festival will instead remain open all day on Saturday 7th November.
In order to encourage attendance on Saturday 7th November, the NBC is issuing up to 4,000 vouchers of €5 each to all children and adolescents between the ages of five and eighteen attending the Festival. These vouchers may be collected from the NBC stand on presentation of ID card, passport or birth certificate of the child/adolescent.
Therefore changes in opening hours are as follows:
Saturday 7th November: 09:30 – 22:30
Sunday 8th November: 08:30 – 12:00 (noon)
