Robert Aloisio is the author of 4 books on the Italian mafia, the catholic church, and a number of figures who stood up for the disenfranchised and pushed back against the mafia.

In this interview we talk to Robert Aloisio about Archbishop Oscar Romero, the two judges Giovanni Falcone and Paolo Borsellino, and the late Father Ġwann Xerri who passed away a few days ago. We also discuss the church’s role in the fight against the Mafia, the varied schools of thought within it, and the theology of liberation.
