Book donation to Malta Libraries – 2018

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Another substantial book donation from the National Book Council was presented last week to Maltese Public Libraries in the presence of the NBC’s Executive Chairman, Mr. Mark Camilleri, and the CEO of Malta Libraries, Ms. Cheryl Falzon. These books, a selection of the finest titles from several Maltese publishing houses, will hit public library shelves around Malta and Gozo very soon.

The books donated to Malta Libraries will be distributed among local branches of Malta Libraries in Malta and Gozo over the coming few weeks. The NBC urges members of the public to visit their local libraries more frequently and make fuller use of these essential cultural services.

The NBC has already made a total of five major donations this year, to Malta Libraries, schools and various organizations on various occasions, including World Book Day 2018.These donations are part of an on-going effort by the National Book Council to fill the shelves of public and school libraries with high-quality reading material. More book donations are planned for next year, which will target other institutions such as hospitals and correctional centres.
