Ir-rumanz iddaħħal ukoll fis-sillabu tal-‘A’ Level tal-Malti. Iltqajna ma’ Maria Simiana, gradwata mill-Università ta’ Malta li studjat lil Bonnici, kif ukoll ma’ Nathan Anthony Pace, student entużjast fl-istudju tal-Malti li għadu kif lesta l-matrikola u għalhekk qara mill-qrib dan ir-rumanz. Nathan għadu wkoll kif qasam l-ewwel premju tal-Juvenes Translatores, kompetizzjoni tal-Kummissjoni Ewropea li fiha qaleb test mill-Ingliż għall-Malti. Tkellimna magħhom dwar l-esperjenza tagħhom mar-rumanz, kemm mil-lat ta’ studju aktar avvanzat, u anki mill-perspettiva studenteska. Ixtri l-ktieb ‘Ħelsien’ ta’ Ġużè Bonnici minn hawnhekk. Infakkru lis-semmiegħa li dan l-episodju jixxandar fl-istess ħin fuq Radju Malta.
