Home / News / The National Book Festival Programme of Events 2014 Back to News The National Book Festival Programme of Events 2014 Festivals • News 24th October, 2014 The National Book Council has just launched the Programme of Events for this year’s edition of the National Book Festival happening over five days – 12th to the 16th of November, 2014 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta. The Book Fest is open to all free of charge and with a programme of events boasting up to 50 different appointments one is sure to find an activity that interests them. Local publishers and authors will be launching and selling their latest works whilst this year’s international participation is marked by ten Italian publishers represented by “Morrone Editore” thanks to the Italian Cultural Institute and a French bookshop along with celebrated author, Pierre Assouline thanks to the French Embassy. School-children attending during morning hours will be given a €2 book voucher and will enjoy drama theatre by the Education Department’s Drama Unit.
