Forsi nippreferu kelma flok oħra, jew nużaw espressjoni jew qawl li jekk neżaminawhom waħedhom af niskopru lati oħra tal-lingwa Fil-ktieb Is-Sessiżmu fil-Lingwa Maltija, l-ilsien Malti jitqiegħed taħt lenti osservatriċi sabiex jiġu studjati l-waqtiet meta l-lingwa tkun sessista, diskriminattiva, saħansitra dispreġġjattiva u razzista. F’dan l-episodju nitkellmu mal-editur tal-ktieb Dr George Farrugia u waħda mill-kontributuri Prof. Jos Ann Cutajar. Fost l-oħrajn nitkellmu dwar xi jfisser meta lingwa tkun sessista u kif il-kelliema jistgħu jlqgħu għal dan bl-użu ta’ termini alternattivi. Il-ktieb Is-Sessiżmu fil-Lingwa Maltija huwa finalist tal-Premju Nazzjonali tal-Ktieb 2021 fil-kategorija tar-riċerka ġenerali, u jista’ jinxtara mingħand Klabb Kotba Maltin. Infakkru lis-semmiegħa li dan l-episodju jixxandar fuq Radju Malta fl-istess ħin.
