The popular writer and television personality Ruth Frendo, will be talking about the first Maltese books ever featuring augmented reality – the Golden Calf trilogy. These books are being studied in Maltese schools and due to their popularity they are also being described as, “the Harry Potter of Malta”.

Ruth will talk about the latest book from this trilogy – Is-Sagrifiċċju tal-Għoġol tad-Deheb. This book marks the end of the adventure of Pia and her companions, full of mysteries and adventures related to local folk tales. In addition, Ruth will be showing how augmented reality works so that children can truly appreciate the magic of this series of books!

The series of interactive books was supported by the National Literacy Agency and the Ministry for Education and Employment.
