In this conversation, two members from the National Book Council of Gibraltar, novelist M.G. Sanchez and Head of Cultural Development Davina Barbara, will talk with the NBC Executive Chairperson Mark Camilleri about Gibraltarian literature, history, language and culture, uncovering interesting parallels between the two ‘Rocks’ in the process. The session will also feature a presentation about The Rock Retreat 2024, a creative residency for writers and artists specialising in Children’s and Young Adult fiction held in Gibraltar, of special interest to Maltese authors and illustrators.
