Tberfil is a well-known and much-loved style of popular decorative art that was often seen on trucks and especially buses throughout the 20th century, although little is known about how it became established on the island. This new book explores the history of this unique art form through the stylistic traits that define it —its lettering, pinstriping, and ornamentation— and the people behind it. The launch will be accompanied by a discussion with tberfilist Joe Farrugia and others about the past, present, and future of tberfil.
