Join us for the announcement of the winners and readings by the winning poets of the sixth edition of the Doreen Micallef National Poetry Contest, launched by the National Book Council with the aim of further raising the profile of poetry in Malta and honouring the best poetry written in Maltese.

Among the guests of this year’s ceremony will be Murad Shubert, winner of the 2023 National Book Prize 2023 for Poetry, and Emirati poet Ali al Shaali, who will be reading each other’s work in translation and participating in a literary exchange moderated by Antonella Axisa.
