Eight female writers, eight voices. One point of departure – another voice, strong at its most fragile, the voice of  Maria Grech Ganado, Malta’s first Poet Laureate. The aim – how words reshape words, and how the experiences of these nine writers, diverse as they may be, combine as a single chain, like beads on a string, or like a fan… Through these new texts especially written for this occasion, Clare Azzopardi, Miriam Calleja, Leanne Ellul, Claudia Gauci, Elizabeth Grech, Simone Inguanez, Klara Vassallo and Nadia Mifsud will be giving the audience a taste of what it means to be a woman today.
