Home / News / Seminars on Maltese contemporary poetry @ the Poetry Pavilion, LBF Back to News Seminars on Maltese contemporary poetry @ the Poetry Pavilion, LBF Festivals • Initiatives • Literary Exports • London Book Fair • News 14th March, 2017 The National Book Council would like to announce that during the London Book Fair 2017, which is taking place in London Olympia on 14, 15 and 16 March, poetry seminars have been prepared on the Poetry Pavilion. Poetry readings by Maltese performer Sarah Naudi have been scheduled from 11:30 am on all three days. These will be featuring work by Mario Azzopardi, Immanuel Mifsud and Maria Grech Ganado. On the council’s main stand (6E41), a select number of award-winning and presitigious local publications will be on display. Sarah Naudi is a Maltese/French actress and producer based in London and known for By the Sea (2015), Him & Her (2015) and Quantum Love (2014). Edward Degaetano is a Maltese actor based in London, known for Seed of Desire and 6 passi nel giallo (2012). Members of the Maltese community in London and anyone interested in participating in the event are invited to join us for the poetry seminars. This will also include free entrance to the London Book Fair.
