The 2025 Malta Community of Illustrators Annual Launch will open with a panel discussion featuring members of MCOI and APIV, the professional illustrators’ association from Valencia. APIV board members Paula Pérez de Lanuza (Paulapé) and Xulia Vicente Jiménez will speak on illustration and associationism. They will highlight the role of associations in advocating for illustrators’ rights, building their community, and promoting professional standards. The discussion will explore how association strengthens illustrators in a precarious industry, offering visibility, dialogue with institutions, training, and support.
