The Novels for Youth

Literary Contest

The Novels for Youth Literary Contest is an annual contest organised by the National Book Council and Aġenzija Żgħażagħ.

The aim of this contest is to select, reward and publish Maltese novels that are written specifically for readers between 13 and 18 years, and that explore themes related to adolescence and the typical situations young people in this stage of their lives are likely to encounter.

The contest is judged anonymously by three adjudicators appointed by the NBC and Aġenzija Żgħażagħ.
