Excellent for families with children, the one hour and thirty minute shows ‘Il-Kotba Jieħdu l-Ħajja’ (Books Come to Life) are not to be missed, and you can expect entertainment and laughter. DANUSAN will be showing the importance of reading in their own hilarious way and will be staging performances inspired by the works that will have just been awarded the 2019 Terramaxka Prize for children. These will be announced during the Malta Book Festival’s opening ceremony on 5 November. ‘Il-Kotba Jieħdu l-Ħajja’ will be held at Republic Hall, MCC. The tickets for the three shows (Friday 8 November at 8pm, Saturday 9 November at 7pm and Sunday 10 November at 3pm) are now available for sale on the MCC’s website and showshappening.com. The starting price is 5€. With the purchase of a ticket for the Danusan show and upon presentation of the ticket during the show, you can get a 3€ book voucher to be spent at any outlet exhibiting at the Malta Book Festival 2019.
