Mal-mistieden tkellimna dwar l-element storiku fir-rumanzi tiegħu, post ir-rumanz storiku fil-Letteratura Maltija u r-relevanza tiegħu llum, il-fil patrijottiku fil-kitba tiegħu u l-patrijottiżmu fil-kuntest kurrenti, u kif jirrelataw flimkien ir-rumanzi tiegħu b’kuxjenza nazzjonali għal dawk b’kuxjenza aktar intima u personali, fost oħrajn. Isma’ l-intervista sħiħa hawnhekk. Michael Cini iggradwa mill-Universita ta’ Malta fl-Amministrazzjoni Pubblika u fil-Qari tal-Provi bil-Malti. Studja wkoll l-Għarbi biex jifhem l-għeruq tal-Malti. Wara ftit ħass li kellu jagħti sehmu lejn il-lingwa billi jibda jikteb ir-rumanzi. Fix-xogħlijiet tiegħu juri mħabba lejn il-lingwa u interess lejn l-istorja ta’ Malta, li jinsiġhom flimkien biex joħloq rumanzi storiċi u versatili. Il-Kunsill Nazzjonali tal-Ktieb jirringrazzja lill-PBS u lill-ħaddiema ta’ Radju Malta 1 għall-għajnuna bix-xandir tal-programm.
