Prof. Anthony (Toni) Aquilina and Dr. Marilyn Mallia from the Department of French of the University of Malta will be speaking about Annie Ernaux (b. 1940), 2022 Nobel Prize for Literature, and reviewing her contribution to the field of female collective memory literature. Prof. Aquilina will also present his translation into Maltese of L’exil et le Royaume, a masterpiece of French Nobel Prize winner Albert Camus (1913-1960). M. Renaud Lallement, Cultural Counsellor of the French Embassy, will be moderating the event.
