Join Glen Calleja, bookbinder, publisher and author, for a hands-on workshop for children aged 8 to 12 on how to make a book by hand. Participants will learn about traditional bookbinding methods and have the opportunity to create a small book of their own. This workshop is free but requires participants to register in advance. 

Glen Calleja is a bookbinder and book artist. Calleja is the founder of Kotba Calleja, a small bindery in Rabat, offering a variety of services. He applies traditional bookbinding techniques to contemporary design principles to create unique books and small bespoke book editions. He also researches and creates other paper products ranging from paper bowls to bespoke stationery. Calleja started his bookbinding journey with renowned designer bookbinder Lori Sauer (BINDING re:DEFINED) and continues to be her student. He has conducted many bookbinding and paper craft workshops mostly based on thinking by making and the question of what makes a book.
