A donation of books to Mount Carmel Hospital

The National Book Council (NBC) presented this morning a donation of books to Monte Carmeli Hospital.

The books will be used at the Male Dual Diagnosis Unit (MDDU), for residents who are in the early stages of rehabilitation from drugs.

The donation was presented by NBC Chairperson, Mark Camilleri, to Charge Nurse Caroline Pace, Mental Health Nurse Roderick Gatt and Senior Health Carer David Galea.

This is the latest donation out of many which the NBC does every year to better the accessibility of books to specific sectors of the society.
