Despite widely understood as distinct forms of writing, the writing of literature and journalism both represent a process whereby an author comes to terms with events and experiences through the process of writing. Sometimes influences cross-over to other forms, creating the kinds of narrative we see in the books by Karl Schembri, or the the journalistic value of memoir illustrated in the recently published book by Lovin Malta about Daniel Holmes’ stay in Malta’s prison. Books discussed in this episode: Il-Manifest tal-Killer (Merlin Publishers) Daniel Holmes: A Memoir From Malta’s Prison (Lovin Malta) [embedyt] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-zHVdim80c[/embedyt] SHARE POST Related Articles Call for Short Stories About Valletta for Comma Press’ Reading the City Series News 28th April, 2025 Read More Have Your Say: The National Book Council 2025-2030 Strategy Up for Public Consultation News 28th April, 2025 Read More Exhibitors — apply now to participate at the 2025 Malta Book Festival!
