Bħalissa qed jaħdem fuq serje ta’ pubblikazzjonijiet tematiċi dwar it-teorija u l-istorja tal-arti Maltija tas-seklu għoxrin, fosthom il-kotba finalisti tal-Premju Nazzjonali tal-Ktieb 2020 – The Unreality of Realism: An insular perspective on the development of modern art (Horizons, 2019), u Metal and Silence: The quest for authenticity in the arts (Horizons, 2019).
