Home / News / Vacancy at the National Book Council Back to News Vacancy at the National Book Council News 15th December, 2017 The National Book Council is looking for a part-time event organiser to join our growing and dynamic team. The event organiser will help current team members in organising book fairs, festivals and other events. The event organiser will also have to draft communiques, update our website and do other activities as delegated by the National Book Council. Previous experience in organising events or activities is a prerequisite. Excellent proficiency in Maltese and English is also a prerequisite. Preferably, the candidate should be a graduate in philosophy, history, economics, linguistics, any language, computer science or any hard science such as maths and physics. An attractive remuneration package is offered to the right candidate. The event organiser will also have the opportunity to travel abroad and extend his or her network in the book industry.
