This scheme is part of the NBC’s 2024 Literary Export Initiative, which was launched earlier this year with the aim of collating Maltese books into a foreign rights catalogue to be disseminated at the London Book Fair among other international book fairs throughout 2024. The National Book Council recognizes the difficulty faced by Maltese publishers, authors and translators in navigating the international publishing market and is dedicated to fostering their success. By offering a limited amount of guest badges to the London Book Fair in March, the NBC is providing a unique opportunity for stakeholders to network with key industry players in the global market. A total of 20 guest passes are being offered to publishers, authors and translators from Malta, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. While the passes give access to the London Book Fair 2024 up to its full duration (12 to 14 March), travel and accommodation expenses are to be borne by the applicant. Prospective applicants are kindly requested to fill in the application form by 12 February 2024. Apply here: https://forms.gle/AnfDfXFfiZPaV8VZ8 SHARE POST Related Articles Make a mark abroad!
