Home / News / Book Donation to Floriana Primary Back to News Book Donation to Floriana Primary Initiatives • News 9th February, 2015 The Floriana Primary School Headmaster Mr. Stephen Miceli together with teachers and staff from the school and San Ġorġ Preca College Principal Mr. James Camilleri hosted National Book Council representatives for a short ceremony to mark today’s book donation to the school. The NBC executive chairman Mr. Mark Camilleri opened the ceremony by going through the books and encouraging the teachers present to browse through the considerable list of titles which will soon be made available to their students. The books donated by the NBC, a mix of reading books, text books and reference books, will be available for the students to borrow from the library as well as to use as readers in the classroom and were purchased following direct consultation with teachers at the school. During their speeches, both the Floriana Primary Headmaster and the San Ġorġ Preca College Principal expressed gratitude for the ongoing support shown by the NBC.
