Mal-mistieden tkellimna dwar l-interess tiegħu fil-kitba, kemm dik artistika iżda anki legali, it-tematika eżistenzjali, l-onestà bħala prerekwiżit għall-kitba radikali tal-poeżija, it-tqassim tal-pubblikazzjoni monumentali Alfabett tal-Kodiċi Ċivili, u l-influwenzi Russi u Taljani fuq il-kitba tiegħu, fost oħrajn. Fis-snin sittin kien wieħed mill-fundaturi tal-Moviment Qawmien Letterarju. Ippubblika Priżmi ma’ Dun Lawrenz Cachia fl-1968, Dawl fil-Persjani (1972), Mandala (1984) u l-aħħar ġabra, Mirja (2014) li tiġbor fiha ħamsin sena ta’ poeżija mill-1963 sal-2013. Bħalissa qiegħed fil-proċess li jippubblika l-10 volumi tax-xogħol legali intitolat L-Alfabett tal-Kodiċi Ċivili.
