Home / News / Campus Book Festival – 5th-7th MAY 2015 Back to News Campus Book Festival – 5th-7th MAY 2015 Campus Book Festival • Festivals • Initiatives • News 30th April, 2015 The National Book Council and Għaqda tal-Malti – Università are organizing the second edition of the Campus Book Festival which will take place on the 5-6-7 of May 2015. Opening hours: 09:00 – 15:00 u 19:00 – 21:30. This festival offers a platform for Maltese publishers and distributors to promote their material with a mature and scholarly audience including university students. Over and above the sales of books, a varied programme of events is also curated for the 3-day festival in a bid to promote literature in its entirety. Two stand-out events for this festival are the two interviews with authors Walid Nabhan and Pierre J. Mejlak, both winners of prestigious literary awards. During the three days of the festival, guided tours of the University Library will take place as well as several other events in collaboration with other University based organizations such as KSU. The participating publishers and distributors are Faraxa Books, Horizons, SKS, and Sierra Book Distributors, some of which will be organizing their own events as well.
