This scheme is part of NBC’s wider 2026 Literary Export Initiative, which was launched in 2023. The National Book Council recognises the difficulty faced by Maltese publishers, authors, translators and illustrators in navigating the international publishing market and is dedicated to fostering their success. The NBC is providing a unique opportunity for stakeholders to network with key industry players in the global market at one of the most successful international publishing events. A total of 20 guest passes are being offered to NBC stakeholders from Malta, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. While the passes give access to the London Book Fair 2025 up to its full duration (10 to 12 March), travel and accommodation expenses are to be borne by the applicant. Prospective applicants are invited to register for the guest passes via Submittable, through this link. Deadline for applications is 6 February.
