The NBC believes that every sector in society is entitled to have access to books and libraries, including individuals serving time in prison or other institutions. No individual is to be barred or kept back from furthering their education and books are salient ‘access’ tools that contribute and lead to opportunities. The NBC will be keeping in touch with prison authorites as well as the Mid-Dlam għad-Dawl organisation so as to follow up on with the needs of the prison library and promises to help out and offer support whenever needed.
