Several reading Ambassadors took part in a Q&A session with the primary school children, who asked them questions on their favourite books and their experiences with reading. Among them was Dr. Frank Fabri, Director of the Education Department, who was deputising for Hon. Evarist Bartolo, Minister of Education. The NBC’s book donation is the first donation of its kind to the school library, but others will surely follow. Ms. Galea thanked the National Book Council for their generous donation. The books donated by the NBC, a mix of reading and picture books for children, will be available for the students to borrow from the library as well as to use as readers in the classroom.
