News • Malta Book Festival • News 8th October, 2025 At this year’s edition of the Malta Book Festival, we will be Writing Anew, thanks to the participation of over 40 exhibitors who will help us celebrate the transformative power of books and reading; inspiring, enriching and challenging us in equal measure. Taking place at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre (MFCC), Ta’ Qali from 5-9 November, the Festival is now in its 46th year. While it has undergone numerous changes so as to move with the times, one constant remains the same – the presence of Malta’s leading publishers and booksellers populating the Festival floor all throughout the vibrant five days of the event. “Proud as we are of our programme of events this year, with its hundred-plus activities, it is our exhibitors who really lend the Malta Book Festival its trademark identity,” National Book Council Executive Chairperson Mark Camilleri said. “From legacy publishers to newer outfits, booksellers, NGOs and international entities based on the island, the Festival offers an annual celebration of books that goes above and beyond, resulting in a cultural melting pot where visitors of all ages and from all walks of life can find something to enjoy and – crucially – take back home with them,” Camilleri added.
